The chief dentist, Dr. Obaisi, and her hygienists (the website doesn't list their names, alas), have a gentle and deft touch with their tools, and a firm command of their work. I always know I am in good hands here. It's usually busy, but more so on Fridays. As for any dentist, schedule an appointment well ahead – but they can flexibly handle a short-notice emergency.read more

Dr. John Chae is an excellent oral surgeon. He is very professional and knows his job. The staff at the office have great customer service that makes you want to visit them again. Special thanks to Andreal who stood by me and assured me that everything will be okay. She assisted the surgeon during the extraction. I had a very bad tooth extraction in the past at another inexperienced dentist. So I came to this place with some fear and reservations. They did the extraction so efficiently that I couldn’t believe it was all done. When it was time to check out and pay them, my medical wage work card acted up. Tiara patiently helped me to call the card customer service to ensure the payment went through. She did not rush to demand another card for the payment. My wife who was waiting for me at their reception was so impressed by comments from all their customers that she immediately booked appointments for herself and the children to see the dentist. If they impressed my wife so much, believe me they are excellent because my wife is not that easy to impress. I hope they will keep up this level of excellent service.read more

At my visit this morning, Manus Dental took all kinds of safety precautions to keep both staff & patients safe: limiting the number of patients waiting inside, hand sanitizing, temperature monitoring, plastic shields at the counter, lots of mask-wearing and physical distancing, air purifiers everywhere, and thorough cleaning practices. The dentist and all of the staff were kind and professional. I appreciated that so much. And my hygienist Amber was both thorough and gentle when she cleaned my teeth, which can sometimes be sensitive, esp when I'm nervous. Thank you for a really positive experience today!read more

My experience was very positive. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The facility is nice and clean and they are especially conscious of health and safety during the pandemic. In addition, the staff is well-trained and up to date with care as it relates to COVID-19 safety. I haven’t felt so comfortable and pleased in awhile. I’ve had everything from a root canal to teeth cleaning done here. Next step is a consultation with the orthodontist. I’ve never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly and ask a lot of questions to make sure you are happy with your teeth. They take all COVID precautions and I felt completely comfortable and safe during the entire experience from check in to walking out at the end of my appointment.read more

I really do not want to take away stars because of one very annoying experience. Dr Priyanka is very good. One of my favorite dentists in awhile. All personnel is fantastic! The admins at the front desk are pleasant and helpful. Actually very personable. Very positive experience. The offices are comfortable and clean. Follow up is above and beyond the service I have received at any other dentist office.The only down side was a women helping the dentist talked loudly over me during my entire appointment which was LONG! She was extremely annoying and I did not want to hear about her personal life. Then she starts asking me about mine. She was the. The also extremely rude, started fussing with me telling me she knows what she is doing has been doing this for 18 years. I really like the dentist or I would have walked out.She asked me a question and I answered her. She asked me the same question 4 times in 2 minute intervals. Guess what? She got the same answer. I really do not know what made her think she could address me like that.If she is the person assisting my dentist for my next visit I will say something. Half my mouth was numb and I was in the chair for over an hour. I wanted to scream!All this said, If you are looking for a dentist Manus is the place.read more

Our experience with Dr. Hylan-Cohen (and her team) has been incredible. My daughter has loved the personal connection Dr. Cohen has made, and I've loved the expertise and communication throughout the whole process of orthodontic treatment. My 13 year old daughter says, "She does a very good job. She's really funny and good for kids. I always look forward to seeing her." I would recommend Dr. Hylan-Cohen to any person thinking about braces and wants a professional and personal experience. My daughter's smile lights up a room.read more

Dr.Chae and his assistant (can't remember his name) were very Friendly and helped ease some of my anxiety during my extraction. I was able to get a same day appointment which was great because I was in alot of pain. Shawn was also very helpful, patient and pleasant. Amber was FABULOUS, it is always hard for me to get any work done on my teeth as I get very nervous but she was so nice and easy going and made the entire experience a breeze. This location (in Hyde Park) always gives great service and I was in and out within an hour for a total mouth cleaning which was nice considering they had to do new x-rays which wasn’t on the list for the day and Amber still got me in and out within an hour.read more

Dr. Obaisi did my exam and offered to do my filling that same day so that I wouldn't have to come back. My filling feels great! The Orthodontist Dr. Cohen is the best! She is very pleasant and professional. She understands parent's concerns, designing treatment plans with patients/parents' opinion in mind, and with success! My Son had 2 treatments with her and we have known her for years. She answer questions by email on the next day. Her technicians are also very skillful and cordial. The front desk of the office just had a complete change of personnel. I don't know the reason behind it, but so far everyone is competent.read more

Julie is my hygienist. She is the best one in my 15-year experience with in the Manus Dental. She is professional, knowledgeable, skillful, efficient, and caring. She has all I am looking for. The service provided was excellent. Every step was explained. I experienced little to no pain with a deep scaling cleaning. I was not expecting the cost with insurance to be so expensive. Quality service is not cheap.
