I have been a patient at Manus Dental for 15+ years, from a kid when my mom friend brought me through my young adult life. They have always been very professional, helpful, and caring. Beyond my normal cleanings and tooth maintenance, they also recently completed a bone graft and implant for my two front teeth that were knocked out when I was 7. All of the hygienists are great, but I always schedule with Perri. I love knowing my teeth will always been cleaned without an ounce of pain or discomfort!read more

Let's face it, if you are at a periodontist office you probably won't have good news. However, Dr. Manus and staff will make you feel at ease and comfortable with the decisions you make. Sean was amazing as well. He will explain your benefits and options for payment. I was impressed with everyone 's customer care and professionalism!read more

Dr. Dohnalek is a truly caring and attentive dentist so is his entire staff. He listens to his patients and always takes the time to make sure that he takes care of my dental needs and that I am happy and satisfied with the work that's done.I love his receptionists and dental assistants. Very welcoming environment. I definitely recommend this practice to anyone! They are all make me feel as a valued patient, which as surprising as it may sound, not everywhere is the case. Having come from Grand Dental here in Lake Zurich to Manus, you can't even compare...The staff at Manus are friendly and do a great job....Most importantly they don't invent reasons for you to have to keep coming back...they do what they need to do and let you and your wallet get on with your life.read more

Like most people, going to the dentist is not something I look forward to. Thankfully I am blessed with good teeth. Everyone at Manus Dental are so nice and friendly. I am greeted like an old friend and even asked about my chickens and dogs. I have had a dental emergency in the past. I was treated quickly and with no significant pain or discomfort.The staff is professional and friendly and they g out of their way to make you relaxed and comfortable. 10+ in my book.read more

I love Manus dental. The hygienist are so nice and pay close attention to detail and take their time with cleaning my teeth. They also listen to my concerns and give me solutions( and free samples) to help with any issues I have. The dentist are nice and are very attentive too! And the front desk is very helpful and explained my bill and next steps perfectly.read more

As it relates to safety, Manus Dental took all precautions. We were advised of their protocol prior to my appt. (as I made my appt. then again during their appt. reminder call).Their protocol includes proper use of a face mask, a call to the office upon arrival to minimize the # of people in the waiting room, sterilization of pens to use while completing forms if necessary and chairs arranged 6’ apart.All Manus Dental personnel wore protective masks, gloves, hair coverings and/or face shields. I never felt at risk.I am a new patient and appreciate how clean the office is and how professional, knowledgeable and friendly everyone was, from the receptionists to the dental hygienists to the dentists.It’s difficult to find a new dentist. I’m confident I made the right choice!read more

I was referred to Dr Mackler for his expertise in periodontal issues from my regular dentist office that is associated with this location. I was greeted immediately from Sean, the office manager who checked me in. I was escorted to an exam room where I was greeted by Dr Mackler's assistant (very friendly young lady but unfortunately don't remember her name,) who verified my personal health information etc. Though today was just a consultation, Dr Mackler made me feel very comfortable with the procedure I'm going to require. Dr Mackler explained everything in detail and answered all my questions and concerns.. Never once did I feel rushed. Though I do not look forward to the procedure I require, I do feel confident that Dr Mackler and his team will fix/correct my dental needs and have me smiling with perfect teeth in no time!! BTW, all the necessary precautions were taken due to the CoVid virus and I felt completely safe.read more

Started going to Manus Dental through a referral from my girlfriend, more than 35 years ago. Never needed to take our children anywhere else. Never an issue with any of the services or billing. Time or two when I didn't want to pull a tooth, they worked with me for creative solutions and I still have all my teeth. Couple of emergencies, they took care of right away. I enjoy the friendly banter when I'm a little stressed. Professionalism, good natured, caring, is how I would describe everyone there. Yes, I recommend you at least go to Manus Dental once, even just for a cleaning or something. I think you would make them your family dentists after you meet them and have quality work done on your teeth without any problems. Married the girl friend early on and still married to her, but don't blame that on the dentist. Haha...read more

My family has been going to Manus for years, and we generally love it.Two weeks into reopening after the coronavirus shutdown, they were not very organized:1. They sent an email indicating we should call or text when we got there, and wait to be called in. We called twice, no one answered. We texted, no one answered. It turned out they didn't check either their messages or their texts, and instead called an old disconnected phone number to see where we were. Someone finally ended up coming out to the parking lot and found us. If you tell people to call or text you, it would be good to actually check the messages.2. In the same email, they said check-in and check-out would be contactless. This ended up not being true. They had 5 pages of forms to be filled out. Those could have been emailed ahead of time, and emailed back after being completed.3. In the same email, they said there would be no one in the waiting room. This also ended up not being true. People were ignoring the sign on the door saying to call when they got to the parking lot -- they were just walking right in, and they were not told to go back out.None of this will stop me from going back. I still am very happy with the dental care my family receives there. I hope that they will do a better job with their procedures going forward.read more

I’ve been going to Manus Dental since they opened in Lake Zurich and Dr. Dan since 1984. I moved to different towns in the NW suburbs but have not left the practice. I can’t say enough good things about the service I’ve received. The professionals there are customer focused including my hygentist who is super gentle! My whole family continues to go to Manus even my adult children and my granddaughter has started there too. If your looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend Manus Dental!read more

I have had multiple crowns done. Today was the best crown experience I have ever had. Usually, my mouth hurts for days afterwards from all the drilling and poking. I have NO pain at all in my mouth. The dentist (she) was gentle, careful and really cared about how I was doing during the procedure. What a gem she is!read more
